Congratulations to Dr. Elisabeth Schauer, fellow at Centre ASSAL, who has been awarded a 10'000 CHF grant by the SFAS Swiss Foot and Ankle Society, for a project she elaborated with the center's research team.
The aim of the study is to quantify the physical activity observed among patients during the post-operative period following an hallux valgus correction. Post-operative patient behavior and its relationship to observed clinical outcomes will be analyzed over a one-year period.
We would like to thank the SFAS for its support for medical research in the field of the foot and ankle.
